Missy Zielinski: Lightning’s Martin St. Louis didn’t practice, day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Damian Cristodero: St. Louis took a Drew Doughty shot off the foot on Tuesday. Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune: St. Louis hasn’t ruled himself out of tonight’s game, but the recalling of Brett Connolly could suggest otherwise.
Tom Gulitti: Devils GM Lou Lamoriello said that Ryane Clowe was elbowed in the head on Sunday and experienced a headache afterwards. Todd Cordell: The Devils put Clowe on IR retroactive to October 13th. Tom Gulitti: Clowe may have suffered three concussions last year, but received clearance after undergoing test after last season. With his history, they are playing it safe with Clowe. He’ll miss the next two games.
