Injury Notes: Parros, Vokoun, Neal, Callahan, D’Agostini, Soderberg, Krejci, Tyutin and Boll
  • Renaud Lavoie: Canadiens George Parros has no bone fracture. First indications for CT Scan were negative. Only a concussion as of right now.  Dave Stubbs: Parros has been released from the hospital and is out indefinitely with a concussion.
  • Josh Yohe: Penguins Tomas Vokoun will be out for three to six months. He could return this season, but that won’t be known for awhile.
  • William DePaoli: Penguins James Neal is dealing with an upper-body injury.
  • NHL.com: Rangers captain Ryan Callahan won’t be in the Rangers lineup for their season opener on Thursday.
  • Matt Kalman: Bruins Carl Soderberg is on the IR retroactive to last Friday. David Krejci skated today and will be a game-time decision tomorrow.
  • Shawn Mitchell: Injuries could keep Blue Jackets Fedor Tyutin and Jared Boll out of the lineup with weekend.
