  • Helene St. James: Teams don’t have to be roster compliant until Monday, September 30th.
  • Steve Zipay: Rangers Brad Richards said that former coach John Tortorella lost confidence in him last season, and then he lost confidence in himself.
  • Chuck Gormley: Capitals GM George McPhee said that Tom Wilson will get a chance to make the team. McPhee is not a fan of the nine game tryout.
  • Dennis Bernstein: Kings coach Darryl Sutter said the second line left wing slot is Matt Frattin’s to lose.
  • Frank Seravalli: Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said he doesn’t expect there will be anyone else invited to camp as of now.
