Free Agent Hits: Wheeler, Bogosian, Kadri, Franson, Bryzgalov, Allen, Stuart, Hamill and Goloubef


  • Gary Lawless: The agents for both Blake Wheeler and Zach Bogosian said there is “nothing new” to report on contract talks as of yesterday morning. An agent said that as the hearing gets closer, both sides usually get closer as neither side wants a hearing.
  • Stephen Whyno: Maple Leafs GM Dave Nonis said he doesn’t see deals for Nazem Kadri and Cody Franson anytime soon. He isn’t that concerned by it.
  • St. Louis Blues: The Blues have signed Jake Allen to a two-year deal. Jeremy Rutherford: The first year is a two-way deal ($750,000 and $125,000). The second year is a one-way deal at $850,000.
  • Vancouver Canucks: The Canucks have signed left winger Colin Stuart and center Zach Hamill.
  • Rob Mixer: The Blue Jackets sign Cody Goloubef to a one-year, two-way deal.

    bfd signings by cannucks I hope Roberto sticks it big time to gillis..is he the worst gm simply because of the way he handled the goalie situation/the firing of Alain/the hire of dickhead tort/the signing of the whole team to no trades/the not a draft pick in the lineup/the way they treated Hodgson and then traded him for..a real ass…put hom at least with Lou who probably traded away the next one in next years draft so he could draft at 29 /traded a top pick for a goalie when he could have got Bernier… a much better fit etc.or is it Feaster who will become a genius if he ends up with CONNER
