Edmonton trades Shawn Horcoff to Dallas for Philip Larsen and a pick

The Edmonton Oilers have traded center Shawn Horcoff to the Dallas Stars for defenseman Philip Larsen and a 2016 7th round pick.

Horcoff was drafted 99th overall in the 4th round of the 1998 draft. He carries a $5.5 million cap hit.

Larsen was drafted 149th overall in the 5th round of the 2008 draft. He carries a $1.025 million cap hit.
