Vancouver trade Cory Schneider to the Devils for No. 9


The Vancouver Canucks have solved their goaltending situation by trading Cory Schneider to the New Jersey Devils for the No. 9 selection. The Canucks selected Bo Horvat.

Schneider was drafted by the Canucks, 26th overall in the 2004 draft.

    Obviously Gillis couldn’t find a taker in Luongo.

    Vancouver ownership should have stepped up and bought out Luongo. They forced Gillis’ hand on a bad trade.

    Gillis does a pretty good job of making bad trades on his own so don’t blame ownership.

    Lol even if ownership forced his hand now, Gillis should have got himself out of this mess at the beginning of the season. Can’t see him keeping his job after this upcoming year unless the Canucks miraculously win a cup.
