Injury notes: Brodeur, Hossa, Krejci, Havlat, Kennedy, Quincey, Helm and Bertuzzi

  • Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago: Marian Hossa left last night’s game in first period after taking a hit along the boards. Coach Joel Quenneville said “not bad, day to day,” and that more will be known today.
  • Steve Conroy of the Boston Herarld: Bruins David Krejci’s status is not known after he took a shot off the knee on Sunday. He did leave the arena with a slight limp, but didn’t appear to have brace on.
  • Ansar Khan via twitter: Red Wings forward Darren Helm hopes it is only a minor setback. There is no decision on whether he’ll go on the Californian trip or not.
  • Ansar Khan via twitter: Red Wings winger Todd Bertuzzi (disc issues) skated for five minutes last week and didn’t feel good. He’s still hoping to avoid surgery.
