Some Red Wings not going overseas … Hall to sign with OKC … Del Zotto and Kelly going to Switzerland

  • Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press: Red Wings Patrick Eaves is still experiencing post-concussion problems. He is able to at least do some skating. Johan Franzen, Niklas Kronwall and Darren Helm all said they are not looking to play overseas during the lockout.
  • Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal: Taylor Hall will sign a 1 year contract with the Oilers AHL team in Oklahoma City today, and will play on Friday night. He said yesterday that he skated with center Chris VandeVelde and right winger Magnus Paajarvi. There is talk that he might try a move to center, but Hall feels he’s been away from game action too long to make a move right now.
