Bob McKenzie via twitter: Due to the Dallas ownership situation not likely to be resolved until later this summer, the Stars won’t be making a contract offer to Brad Richards. Dallas would be interested in trading his rights, but Richards has a no movement clause, so may not happen. Dennis Bernstein via twitter: Bernstein wonders why would Richards sign before July 1st knowing that big offers are coming.
