Kunitz and Downie up for suspensions this morning … What do you think?

Another day, another player facing suspension. Correction, 2 players looking at a suspension. First up according to Bob McKenzie is Chris Kunitz at 10 a.m. for his elbow to the head of Simon Gagne. Right after that the league will be talking to Steve Downie about his hit on Ben Lovejoy. Do you think either player will get suspended?

I think for sure that Kunitz gets at least 1 game maybe more. as for the Downie hit, depends on how the NHL views his hit, if he left his feet then he should get something. But rule 48 may come into play again like it did with the Torres hit on Seabrook.

I agree.. Kunitz will get something, the elbow was too deliberate. I would give Downie something too but to give Downie a suspension and not Torres might be unfair. I would have suspended Torres too, that guy is turning into a nightmare.
